Op donderdag 24 mei 1951 organiseert de directrice van de BELAAC-clubs voor de leerlingen van de KMS een cocktail dansant in de speelzaal (gelijkvloers blok D) van 20 u tot middernacht. Militaire stadskledij is vereist.
De kantine van de leerling-officieren wordt in die tijd beheerd door de dienst 'Belgian and Allied Army Clubs' (BELAAC). Deze dienst, opgericht op 19 juli 1945 teneinde de kantines en clubs in bezet Duitsland te beheren, wordt ontbonden op 31 juli 1955. Het beheer wordt vanaf dat ogenblik overgenomen door de dienst 'Militaire Hoofdkantine-Cantine militaire centrale' (MHK-CMC).
De kantine waarvan sprake, gerund door bevallige jongedames, bevindt zich tot aan de renovatiewerken in de jaren 1990 in een aanbouw aan de linkerkant van blok G. De foto toont deze kantine in 1955.
