Friday 15 March, 3.00 pm: the weather is not looking good, but the Special Division (SDIV) promotions are back together for their second SDIV weekend of the year.
On the programme this weekend: PhEF (Physical Evaluation Fitness) tests, shooting range and introduction/review of contact reaction in section.
A packed programme for a limited time, but the determined SDIV once again demonstrated its thirst for learning.
At the end of the weekend, all the students presented their annual PhEF's tests and joint (shooting test) SCAR. The first-year students even had the opportunity to shoot the MINIMI, in order to be at the same level as their colleagues from SSMW and POL.
On Sunday, the young students benefited from the experience of students from higher years to see or review the basics of progression and reaction to contact. It was a great way for the experienced students (coaches) to share their knowledge with the younger ones.
The weekend was also a great opportunity to build cohesion and group spirit!
In fact, on Saturday evening, the cohesion team offered all the participants a great activity designed to strengthen intra-SDIV links.
